1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Risen Hire by RevDev LLC ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. By posting a job, creating an account, or otherwise using the Service in a manner that indicates assent, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
2. Definitions
Throughout this platform, we use Christian terminology to reflect the spiritual nature of Christian vocation. For a fuller summary of the historic, orthodox Christian beliefs that shape our mission and community standards, please see our Statement of Faith:
- "Christian" / "Christianity": For purposes of this platform, these terms refer to the belief and worship in one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, in accordance with the historic, orthodox Christian faith.
- "Callings": Refers to job opportunities and employment positions posted on our platform
3. Description of Service
Risen Hire by RevDev LLC is a free job board platform designed to connect Bible teaching churches, Christian organizations, and faith-aligned businesses with job seekers. The Service allows those mentioned to post job opportunities and for job seekers to browse and apply for positions.
4. User Responsibilities
You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. The Service is not directed to individuals under 13. If you are under 13, do not use the Service.
For Job Posters:
- Provide accurate and truthful information about job opportunities
- Ensure job postings comply with applicable employment laws
- Maintain the confidentiality of applicant information
- Not post discriminatory or inappropriate content
For Job Seekers:
- Provide accurate and truthful information in applications
- Respect the privacy and time of hiring organizations
- Not submit false or misleading information
- Comply with the application process of each organization
5. Eligibility of Job Posts
The Service is provided for the benefit of Bible‑teaching churches and Christian organizations whose beliefs and practices align with our Christian mission and statement of faith. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to approve, decline, suspend, or remove any organization or posting that does not align with our mission, statement of faith, or community standards, or that we otherwise deem unsuitable for our platform.
Organizations generally eligible to post
Subject to our review, the following types of organizations are typically eligible to post on Risen Hire:
- Bible‑teaching local churches and church networks whose doctrine is consistent with our statement of faith.
- Christian ministries, missions organizations, schools, universities, and nonprofits that (a) affirm our Christian statement of faith and (b) operate in a manner consistent with biblical ethics as historically understood by the Christian Church.
- Christian‑owned businesses and organizations whose primary products, services, and public positions are reasonably consistent with our statement of faith and community standards.
Organizations not permitted to post
To protect our users and preserve the integrity of our Christian mission, the following categories of organizations are not permitted to post on Risen Hire. These examples are illustrative and not exhaustive; we may apply these standards on a case‑by‑case basis in our sole discretion:
- Youth Camps and residential youth programs: Due to heightened safeguarding concerns and our limited capacity to vet residential programs, we do not accept postings from youth camps or other residential youth programs serving minors.
- Political and government‑funded organizations: We do not accept postings from (a) political parties, political action committees, or organizations whose primary purpose is lobbying, campaigning, or partisan political activity, in manners or for such mission(s) that are against orthodox Christian doctrine views, or (b) churches or organizations that receive governmental funding (foreign or domestic) where such funding compromises, or reasonably appears to compromise, their independence in Christian doctrine or practice.
- Organizations whose mission conflicts with Christian teaching: We may decline postings from businesses, companies, churches, or organizations whose primary products, services, public teaching, or public positions materially conflict with the life and teachings of Jesus Christ and our statement of faith (for example, organizations that promote pornography, violence, gambling, exploitative financial practices, or sexual ethics contrary to historic Christian teaching).
- Organizations with legal or ethical concerns: We may decline, suspend, or remove postings where an organization or its key leaders are credibly alleged to have engaged in serious misconduct, are under active criminal investigation, or have been found liable or guilty of unlawful conduct, particularly where such matters raise concerns about the safety or well‑being of job seekers or the public. Our decisions may consider publicly available information and are made at our discretion; absence of action by us is not an endorsement or certification of any organization.
Our statement of faith and mission are reflected in these Terms (Sections 2 and 5) and in our eligibility and content guidelines. We may update our eligibility criteria and community standards from time to time. Your continued use of the Service after any such updates constitutes acceptance of the updated criteria and standards.
6. Content Guidelines
All content posted on Risen Hire by RevDev LLC must:
- Be appropriate for a Christian audience
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations
- Not contain discriminatory language or practices
- Not include spam, scams, or fraudulent content
- Respect the dignity and rights of all individuals
Content that conflicts with our Christian mission, statement of faith, eligibility criteria, or community standards may be removed at our discretion and without notice.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Service, to understand our practices regarding the collection and use of your information.
8. Job Posting Expiration
Risen Hire welcomes both paid and volunteer job postings. It is the responsibility of the poster to accurately represent the nature of the position, including whether it is paid or volunteer.
All job postings on Risen Hire are automatically removed 30 days after publication to ensure the platform remains current and relevant. If you wish to repost a job, you may do so after it expires.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RevDev LLC, its members, owners, managers, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) any content you submit or post; (c) your violation of these Terms or any applicable law; or (d) any dispute between you and another user or third party in connection with the Service. We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, at your expense.
10. Limitation of Liability
Risen Hire by RevDev LLC serves as a platform to connect job seekers and employers. We are not responsible for:
- The accuracy of job postings or applicant information
- The hiring decisions of organizations
- The outcome of job applications or interviews
- Any disputes between job seekers and employers
- The terms and conditions of employment
Because the Service is free, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages. In jurisdictions that do not allow such limitations, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RevDev LLC disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any job postings, applicant information, or other content on the Service. You use the Service at your own risk.
12. Service Availability
We strive to maintain consistent service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance or updates without liability.
13. Intellectual Property
The content and design of Risen Hire by RevDev LLC are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Users retain ownership of their posted content but grant us a license to display it on our platform.
14. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service for users who violate these terms or engage in inappropriate behavior. Users may also discontinue use of the Service at any time.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
16. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the remaining provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies or guidelines referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and RevDev LLC regarding the Service and supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, or understandings, whether written or oral.
