Statement of Faith

1. The Triune God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who are equal in power and glory. God is the Creator and Sustainer of all things, perfectly holy, just, wise, and loving.

2. Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross as a substitutionary atonement for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will come again to judge the living and the dead and to renew all things.

3. The Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ, convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, gives new birth, indwells all believers, and empowers them for holy living, service, and witness in accordance with the Scriptures.

4. Scripture

We believe that the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, authoritative Word of God and is true and trustworthy in all that it affirms. Scripture is the final written standard for Christian faith and practice and is to be read, taught, and obeyed in the life of the Church.

5. Humanity and Sin

We believe that all people are created in the image of God with inherent dignity and worth, designed to know, love, and glorify God. Through humanity’s fall into sin, we are alienated from God, ourselves, one another, and creation, and are in need of reconciliation and renewal that we cannot achieve on our own.

6. Salvation by Grace Through Faith

We believe that salvation is a gift of God's grace, accomplished through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and applied by the Holy Spirit. We are reconciled to God not by works or human merit, but by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. Those who trust in Christ are forgiven, declared righteous before God, adopted into His family, and called to follow Him as Lord.

7. The Church

We believe that the one, holy, universal, and apostolic Church is the people of God in all times and places, called out of darkness into God's marvelous light. Local congregations, in their many expressions and denominational traditions, are called to proclaim the gospel, make disciples, celebrate the sacraments or ordinances, and bear witness to Christ in word and deed.

8. Christian Life and Work

We believe that all of life, including daily work and vocational calling, is to be lived under the lordship of Jesus Christ and for the glory of God. Followers of Christ are called to pursue holiness, love of neighbor, integrity, justice, and compassion, bearing the fruit of the Spirit in their relationships and responsibilities. We affirm the goodness of diverse vocations and encourage Christians to serve faithfully in churches, ministries, businesses, and civic life as a witness to Christ.

9. Human Dignity and Neighbor Love

We believe that every person is created in the image of God and therefore possesses inherent dignity and worth, regardless of background, ethnicity, nationality, sex, age, disability, or social status. In light of this, Christians are called to love their neighbors, seek justice, protect the vulnerable, and reject hatred, abuse, or exploitation in all forms.

It informs, but does not exhaustively determine, how we evaluate job postings and organizations for alignment with our Christian mission and platform guidelines.
