EmberFaith exists to help people know God, grow in faith, and live it out. Through free online devotionals, Bible studies, podcasts, articles, and biblical resources, we strive to encourage believers and point people to Jesus Christ.

We are a growing online ministry reaching people around the world, and we're looking for passionate Christians who want to use their gifts to help share God's truth online.

Position Summary

Do you enjoy social media? Do you have a heart for helping people discover biblical encouragement online?

We're looking for volunteer team members to help expand the reach of EmberFaith by sharing content, engaging with our online community, and helping more people discover the free resources we provide.

This is a flexible, fully remote volunteer opportunity that allows you to serve from anywhere.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and publish social media posts across multiple platforms
• Write engaging captions that encourage people to explore biblical content
• Help promote new devotionals, podcasts, Bible studies, and ministry updates
• Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages when appropriate
• Assist in growing EmberFaith's online reach through thoughtful digital marketing
• Brainstorm creative ways to connect with new audiences while remaining faithful to our mission

Qualifications

• A growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Agreement with EmberFaith's Statement of Faith (found here: emberfaith.org/about/statement-of-faith)
• A passion for encouraging others and sharing God's Word
• Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, or X
• Strong written communication skills
• A creative mindset and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and communicate with the EmberFaith team

Previous marketing or ministry experience is helpful but not required. We care more about your heart for Christ, your willingness to serve, and your desire to help others encounter biblical truth.

Time Commitment

Approximately 2–5 hours per week (flexible).

Whether you have a few hours each week or are able to contribute more over time, we'd love to explore how your gifts can serve the ministry.
