The Production & Worship Residency is a paid, one-year ministry development opportunity designed for emerging leaders who feel called to production and worship, and local church ministry. This residency combines hands-on ministry experience, leadership development, coaching, and mentorship within a growing multi-campus church.

Working alongside the Director of Arts and ministry staff, the Resident will gain practical experience in, production systems, worship leadership, volunteer development, service planning, and church-wide ministry. This is more than an internship, it is an opportunity to develop ministry skills, grow as a leader, and gain meaningful experience in a full-time ministry environment.

Residents who demonstrate strong leadership, ministry effectiveness, and alignment with RiverGlen’s mission and culture may be considered for future ministry opportunities as positions become available.

What You'll Be Doing

Production Leadership

• Gain hands-on experience with audio, lighting, stage, and production systems

• Assist with weekend production environments and special events

• Learn equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and production best practices

• Support online and campus production needs

Production Team Development

• Recruit, train, and encourage production volunteers

• Build relationships with team members and help create a healthy volunteer culture

• Learn how to develop leaders and identify future volunteers

Worship Leadership

• When scheduled Lead worship during weekend services and special events as scheduled

• Participate in worship planning and service preparation

• Help create engaging worship experiences that align with RiverGlen's mission 

• Assist in the development, care, and encouragement of musicians, vocalists, and other Arts Ministry volunteers in partnership with the Director of Arts. 

Leadership Growth

• Participate in ministry planning meetings and creative discussions

• Receive regular coaching and mentorship from ministry leaders

• Develop leadership, communication, organizational, and ministry skills

• Gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of a growing multi-campus church

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will be:

• Someone growing in their faith and pursuing a deeper relationship with Jesus and sensing a calling in to ministry

• Passionate about worship ministry and the local church

• A recent Bible college, ministry, worship, or music program graduate (or graduating soon)

• Experienced in worship leadership, music ministry, or production environments

• Comfortable leading people and working with volunteers

• Teachable, humble, and eager to grow

• Organized, dependable, and willing to take initiative

• Excited to learn from experienced ministry leaders

Position Details

• Full-Time, Paid Residency

• One-Year Commitment

• Reports to the Director of Arts

• Includes weekend services, rehearsals, and occasional evening commitments

• Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates
