About the Role

Ministry Position

The Men’s Discipleship Coordinator (DC) role at His Mansion Ministries is, first and foremost, a ministry position. The Men’s DC serves as an integral member of the Men’s Care Team, providing Christ-centered care, discipleship, mentoring, and leadership development for program participants. He helps cultivate an environment where men can pursue healing, recovery, spiritual maturity, and transformation in Jesus Christ while equipping emerging leaders for effective ministry and service.

Summary: The Men’s Discipleship Coordinator works alongside the Men’s Care Team to provide counseling, discipleship, leadership development, and spiritual guidance in alignment with the mission and values of His Mansion Ministries.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrates Christlike character, a mature Christian faith, integrity, and sound moral convictions.
  • Committed to a collaborative, team-based approach to Christ-centered care and discipleship.
  • One to two years of experience in counseling, ministry, or a related care setting preferred. 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent training) in counseling, psychology, social work, ministry, or a related field.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one Christ-centered counseling, discipleship, encouragement, accountability, and spiritual guidance to program participants. 
  • Teach and facilitate classes, groups, and experiential exercises that foster spiritual formation, character development, emotional health, relational maturity, and leadership growth. 
  • Collaborate with the Care Team regarding the care, progress, and treatment of program participants. 
  • Pray regularly with program participants and provide biblical counsel and spiritual support. 
  • Recruit, mentor, train, and develop Servant Leaders through coaching, accountability, evaluations, and leadership development opportunities.
