Lead Preschool Teacher

Longmont Christian Preschool is seeking a passionate, creative, and nurturing Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team. We are a small, non-profit Christian preschool that believes children learn best through play, meaningful relationships, and hands-on experiences in a Christ-centered environment.

Position Details

• Full-time, salaried position (Salary based on a 10 month work year, split over 12 months pay)
• Monday–Friday | 7:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
• School-year schedule with seasonal breaks

QualificationsRequired

• Colorado Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) Qualified
• PDIS Credential Level 2 or higher
• Computer literate and comfortable using technology for planning, communication, and documentation
• Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practice
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Passion for play-based learning and social-emotional development
• Ability to work collaboratively while leading your own classroom

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Experience using Teaching Strategies GOLD®
• Previous lead teacher experience
