EmberFaith exists to help people know God, grow in faith, and live it out. Through free online devotionals, Bible studies, podcasts, articles, and biblical resources, we strive to encourage believers and point people to Jesus Christ.

We are a growing online ministry reaching people around the world, and we're looking for passionate Christians who desire to use their gifts to make an eternal impact.

Position Summary

Do you love God's Word? Do you enjoy writing and encouraging others?

We're looking for volunteer writers to help create biblically grounded devotional content that encourages people in their everyday walk with Christ. Whether you're a pastor, teacher, Bible study leader, or simply someone with a heart for Scripture, we'd love to hear from you.

This is a flexible, fully remote volunteer opportunity that allows you to serve from anywhere.

Responsibilities

• Write biblically sound devotionals and articles
• Collaborate on future devotional and Bible study series
• Research Scripture and biblical themes
• Help edit and review written content
• Work alongside the EmberFaith team to create resources that encourage believers

Qualifications

• A growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Agreement with EmberFaith's Statement of Faith (found here: https://www.emberfaith.org/about/statement-of-faith)
• A love for God's Word and a desire to help others grow in their faith
• Strong written communication skills
• Teachable spirit and willingness to receive editorial feedback
• Ability to work independently and meet agreed-upon deadlines

Previous ministry or writing experience is helpful but not required. We care more about biblical faithfulness, humility, and a heart to serve than having an impressive résumé.

Time Commitment

Approximately 2–5 hours per week (flexible).

We understand that life is busy, and we'll work with volunteers to find a schedule that fits.
