About the Role

The Campus Pastor will serve as the primary shepherd and leader of a local campus, helping people move toward deeper connection, discipleship, care, service, and evangelism. This is a highly relational leadership role for someone who loves people, develops leaders, and thrives as a second-chair leader within a healthy multi-site church structure.

The Campus Pastor will provide overall leadership for the campus while working closely with the Lead Pastor, Executive Pastor, central ministry leaders, and other Campus Pastors to carry out the church's mission, vision, and ministry strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary pastoral leader and shepherd for the campus.
  • Provide pastoral care, biblical guidance, prayer, and support to individuals and families.
  • Lead and develop campus staff, volunteers, and ministry leaders.
  • Build a strong culture of discipleship, evangelism, hospitality, and community.
  • Oversee key campus ministries including care, outreach, guest services, discipleship groups, men's ministry, prayer, and campus events.
  • Provide leadership and accountability for weekend services and the overall Sunday experience.
  • Maintain a visible presence in the community and develop relationships with local leaders, schools, nonprofits, pastors, and other organizations.
  • Recruit, equip, coach, and empower volunteers and emerging leaders.
  • Help people move from attending to connecting, growing, serving, and leading.
  • Develop and execute campus goals, priorities, and ministry initiatives in alignment with the broader church.
  • Preach as assigned based on gifting, theological competency, and ministry alignment. However, this role is not predominantly a preaching role.

What We're Looking For

  • A heart for the local community and a willingness to live and actively engage there.
  • Alignment with historic Christian beliefs and the church's biblical convictions.
  • 3+ years of pastoral ministry experience, with Campus Pastor or Associate Pastor experience preferred.
