🌟 ABOUT CHOSEN GENERATION INTERNATIONAL

Chosen Generation International is an independent, Christ-centered, Bible-based Christian children’s and youth ministry.

Our mission is to reach, disciple, mentor, equip, and empower children, teenagers, and young adults through Christ-centered teaching, leadership development, mentoring, life skills, evangelism, and compassionate service.

Our vision is to see every child and young person become a passionate follower of Jesus Christ, develop godly character, discover their God-given identity and purpose, and become a positive influence in their families, communities, nations, and future generations.

We are working to strengthen our organizational foundation, develop effective leadership and governance systems, support our existing operations in Kenya, and build the capacity for responsible international growth.

📌 POSITION DETAILS

Position: Volunteer Board Member
Organization: Chosen Generation International
Position Type: Unpaid Volunteer Governance Role
Work Arrangement: Remote / Online
Geographic Scope: International
Reports To: The Board collectively, in accordance with the organization's governing documents
Time Commitment: To be agreed upon based on board responsibilities and organizational needs

🎯 PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Board Members will contribute to the organization's governance, strategic direction, accountability, financial oversight, risk management, and long-term sustainability.

We seek individuals who understand that board service is a serious responsibility requiring active participation, independent judgment, ethical conduct, and a commitment to the organization's mission.

Board Members will work collaboratively with fellow board members and organizational leadership to help ensure that Chosen Generation International operates responsibly, follows its governing documents, protects its resources, and remains focused on its mission and the welfare of the young people it serves.

• Nonprofit governance and leadership.

• Business management and strategic planning.

• Finance, accounting, or financial oversight.

• Law, compliance, or risk management.

• Child protection, safeguarding, or social services.

• Education, youth development, or Christian ministry.

• Fundraising, partnerships, or organizational development.

• Human resources, communications, technology, or international development.

Applicants do not need to possess every skill listed above. We aim to develop a board whose members bring complementary expertise, sound judgment, and a shared commitment to the organization's mission.

This is an unpaid volunteer position. No salary, financial compensation, or future paid employment is guaranteed.

Board Members must understand that service may involve fiduciary or other legal responsibilities depending on the organization's legal structure and applicable law.
