Academy Principal

Calvary Chapel Christian Academy is seeking an experienced, Christ-centered educational leader to serve as Academy Principal.

The Academy Principal serves as the senior instructional and operational leader of Calvary Chapel Christian Academy and works closely with the Head of School in overseeing the daily operation of the school. This position provides leadership for both our K–5 Academy and Developmental Center.

The Academy Principal is responsible for instructional leadership, staff supervision and development, student culture, school operations, regulatory compliance, and Developmental Center oversight. The Principal supports and evaluates faculty, strengthens teaching and learning, helps maintain a safe and Christ-centered school culture, and ensures that Academy systems operate with consistency, excellence, and care.

This is a hands-on leadership role. The successful candidate will be comfortable moving between instructional leadership, staff coaching, student and family concerns, school operations, compliance responsibilities, and the everyday needs of a Christian school.

Candidates must have a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and demonstrate the reality of that relationship through their life, testimony, leadership, and conduct. Candidates must believe the Bible is God’s Word and the standard for faith and daily living, faithfully attend a local Bible-believing church, and model Christ-centered character in their leadership and relationships.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree in education, educational leadership, business administration, human resources, or a related field
• Working knowledge of instructional practices, curriculum, and assessment
• Experience leading, supervising, coaching, or developing staff
• Strong communication, organization, judgment, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead with both encouragement and accountability

Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree, administrative or principal licensure, Christian school leadership experience, and familiarity with childcare or early-childhood licensing.
